Option 1 - Gangtok & Tsomgo Lake
Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra/NJP → Drive to Gangtok (125 km / 4–5 hrs)
- Scenic drive along the Teesta River.
- Arrival & check-in at hotel.
- Evening free for a relaxed stroll at MG Marg, enjoy local cafes, and shop for Sikkimese handicrafts.
- Overnight in Gangtok.
Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
- After breakfast, drive 2 hrs uphill to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) – a glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks.
- Visit the revered Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir.
- Optional: Nathula Pass (Indo-China border) – subject to permit & weather.
- Return to Gangtok by evening.
- Leisure time for local shopping/market exploration.
- Overnight in Gangtok.
Day 3: Gangtok City Sightseeing
