Day-Wise Itinerary

Option 1 - Gangtok – Pelling – Darjeeling (Golden Triangle)

Day 1: Arrival → Gangtok

  • Arrive at Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station.
  • Scenic drive to Gangtok (125 km / 4–5 hrs) along the Teesta River.
  • Check in and relax. Evening stroll at MG Marg.
  • Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

  • Visit the high-altitude Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft).
  • Visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir.
  • Optional (with permit): Nathula Pass at Indo-China border.
  • Return to Gangtok.
  • Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 3: Gangtok Sightseeing → Drive to Pelling (120 km / 5 hrs)

  • Morning sightseeing:
    • Rumtek Monastery

  • Drive to Lachen via Singhik Viewpoint & waterfalls.

Day 3: Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake → Transfer to Lachung

  • Early morning drive to Gurudongmar Lake (17,000 ft) – one of the world’s highest lakes.
